The Insurance Museum is a permanent exhibition showing a wide collection of pieces related to the history of insurance from the 18th century until today.
The exhibition enables you to recall different aspects in the history of insurance: the old insurance ordinances and friendly societies as some of the institutions which contributed to the development of insurance: the birth and significance of the insurance policy; the birth of insurance companies and some aspects of their management; the creation and the initial years of fire insurance, and the presence in society of insurance companies and their products through plaques, posters and advertising leaflets.
